This is what a tune-up actually looks like

That black buildup on the coil is what your system breathes through all season — and it's exactly the kind of thing that quietly drives up energy use and leads to breakdowns on the hottest days. Coil cleaning is part of every tune-up, residential or commercial.

Real work, documented — you get written findings and photos after every visit.

Why maintenance pays for itself

Fewer breakdowns

Most emergency failures start as small, detectable problems — a weak capacitor, a dirty flame sensor, a slow refrigerant leak. Tune-ups catch them while they're still cheap to fix.

Better efficiency

Dirty coils and clogged filters force your system to work harder for the same result, which shows up on your utility bill. Clean, properly charged equipment runs at its rated efficiency.

Warranty protection

Most equipment manufacturers require documented annual maintenance to keep parts warranties valid. Skipping tune-ups can void coverage you already paid for.

Common questions

How often should my HVAC system be maintained?

Once a year for each system: AC in spring before cooling season, and your furnace in fall before heating season. This is what equipment manufacturers recommend, and it's often required to keep your warranty valid.

What happens during a tune-up visit?

A full inspection and service of the system: cleaning key components, testing electrical parts, verifying refrigerant charge on AC systems, and running a carbon monoxide safety check on gas furnaces. If we find a developing problem, we'll show you what we found and explain your options — no surprise work.

Do plan members get priority scheduling?

Yes. When the first heat wave or cold snap hits and the schedule fills up, maintenance plan members get priority placement for service calls.

How do I sign up?

Book a tune-up online or give us a call, and we'll set up your plan at the visit. The annual plan is $168/year and covers both seasonal visits; single visits are $84. We'll remind you when each tune-up is due, so you don't have to track it.
